- Is Comic Vault free?
- Yes. You can catalogue your collection, track grades and values, log signatures and plan conventions without paying anything, and there's no card required to sign up.
- Can I move my collection over from a spreadsheet or another app?
- Yes. Download the CSV template, paste your existing data into it and upload it back. You can also add books by photographing a cover, scanning a barcode, or using the Chrome extension while you're on a retailer's site.
- What does Comic Vault do that a spreadsheet doesn't?
- A spreadsheet holds text in columns. Comic Vault connects each book to its creators, characters and publisher, tracks signatures against the specific copy that carries them, and turns your convention plans into a taking list that tells you which guests can sign which books.
- Does it work on my phone?
- Yes. There's an iOS app, and the web app works on any mobile browser — useful when you're standing in a signing queue and need to check what you've already got.
