About This Comic
When the Lizard starts tearing through New York's streets, Spider-Man assumes it's just another rampage to stop. It isn't. Calypso, voodoo priestess and old flame of Kraven the Hunter, is pulling the strings — using the Lizard as bait to drag Spider-Man into a trap built from his own psychology. Poisoned, disoriented, and convinced he's seeing a dead man walk, Peter is pushed further than almost any story before it dared. Todd McFarlane wrote and drew all five issues himself, and it shows: ferocious art wrapped around a story barely holding together. It didn't matter. Readers bought millions of copies anyway.
