Jack Kryznan arrives at PARADISO with a mysterious device that resurrects dead technology, igniting a fierce power struggle among human settlers and the enigmatic Guardians. As Jack navigates this treacherous landscape, he grapples with his own identity and the implications of his invention. The city, alive and sentient, becomes a character in its own right, challenging Jack’s understanding of life and existence. As alliances form and betrayals unfold, Jack must uncover the truth behind his device and the city’s soul.
