About This Comic
In "Mechanismo: Machine Law," Judge Dredd faces an existential crisis as Mega-City One grapples with law enforcement's evolution. With the Justice Department still reeling from the Day of Chaos, Dredd is forced to assess the new Mark-8 RV Mechanismo units, particularly HARVEY, designed to eliminate the flaws of prior robotic judges. As he navigates his distrust of these machines, Dredd confronts his own beliefs about justice and human fallibility. The tension escalates when HARVEY's capabilities challenge Dredd's authority, pushing him to question whether a machine can truly understand the law—or if it can replace the human touch in justice.
