Created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were raised in the sewers of New York City by their rat sensei, Splinter. Each turtle has a distinct personality and fighting style, and they often battle their arch-nemesis, the Shredder, and his Foot Clan. Over the years, they have become cultural icons, appearing in numerous animated series, films, and merchandise.
